Maxthon is an awesome browser! Especially for those individuals that are not yet ready to or simply don't want to make the switch from Internet Explorer to one of the others out there.

Maxthon takes the Explorer engine and tweaks it to deliver a totally new browsing experience and extending the configurability that the Windows Internet Options Control Panel limits.

Basically, Maxthon is the browser Internet Explorer is supposed to be, wishes it was, and will never be!

Of all the plug-ins and add-ons that are available for Maxthon, the "Ad-Hunter" has to be it's best asset. Since I started using Maxthon (back when it was then called MyIE2) many years ago, Ads, banners, and pop-ups have become a thing of the past and are almost non-existent to be because I never see them anymore!

The best part about Maxthon's 'best asset' is that it's built into the browser! No more 3rd-party applications that you have to load as a separate process or ugly tool-bars to control and block all those annoyances. Ads, banners, Flash ads, pop-ups/pop-unders, text-ads, etc. all blocked and kept in check by Maxthon's Ad-Hunter!

My only wish is that Maxthon would be made into a stand-alone browser that ran it's own engine.
